I contacted a guy today who makes carbon fiber parts. Mostly small things like gauge pods, panels, mirrors, and such. I'm talking to him to see if he could fabricate some covers/heat shields for things like the fuse box/battery in carbon fiber. If we work things out and he can do it, would anyone else be interested in getting some or does anyone have anything they would like in carbon fiber?

Like I said, he'll only do small things. Sorry no trunk lids or targa tops.

Here is what he told me today:
you have to make the metal templat(since i don't have the car) but i'm sure i could do it, just keep the design simple.

Ok, I just emailed the guy again and asked him for some prices on the cd player cover, ash try cover, and the center console drink cover thingy. I also asked what he would charge for bulk.

If there's anything else you guys want, just let me know.

Here's the prices he gave me:

    (ALL PRICES INCLUDE SHIPPING!)

    CD Player cover: $35
    Ash tray cover: $35
    Cup Holder cover: $55

I'm still finding out how much of a discount we will get for buying in bulk.

Let me remind you that these are not those crappy stick-on carbon fiber immatations, this guy makes the real deal.

Alrighty, the only discount we get is for each additional item, it's $5 off.

So the first part is $35 and every one after that is $30.
